1977 Ketch Ferro Cement Converted Ketch For Sale

£26,000

1977 Ketch Ferro Cement Converted Ketch.

Price includes a 12-year lease at Gweek Classic Boatyard.

Rothesay II is a 44ft converted ferro cement sailing boat. She has been converted to a comfortable live aboard boat situated at Gweek Classic Boatyard. The current owner has lived on her for 11 years, regrettably having to leave Gweek and the wonderful Helford River due to work commitments.

Rothesay II is a cozy home for one or two people, with a great deck area to sit out on and enjoy the views.

In June 2022 Rothesay II was lifted out of the water by Gweek Boatyard (pictures on advert) so we know the integrity of the hull is good.

There is a gas water heater for the hot water, and a holding tank has been fitted for the black waste from the toilet. There is also a multi fuel burner in the main saloon which is less than two years old, which keeps the boat very cosy.

The current owner would advise the new owner to get all gas, electric & services checked by a qualified professional. She is currently on a residential mooring at Gweek Classic Boatyard.
