We are very excited that work on our new cafe is well underway. We hope to be open for business early in the new year.

On Susie's return from 4 months travelling last summer, she started Tideway Kotare's topsides as well as Sand Dancer's brightwork and paintwork.  Prion then went undercover to have her brightwork stripped then revarnished and Surian's mast was stripped and recoated over the winter with the brightwork and topsides refreshed as usual.

If you would like a free estimate for any painting, varnishing or antifouling do not hesitate to contact Susie on 07968 581593 or susieferris7@aol.com

Springtime proved very challenging in 2015, as Hardman Jones were completing the full fit out of their second fishing boat, a Cygnus 23 during their busiest period.  She was completed  and launched on time, and "Seafoam" is now fishing out of Coverack.  Her owner popped in to see them recently to report that the boat and systems are performing well.

Andrew Massey  - Following the successful relaunch of Dawn, a 1905 gentleman's sailing yacht designed by G U Laws and built  by W E Thomas of Falmouth, Andrew went on holiday! Dawn had been booked in for repair work but it soon became  clear that a major refit was necessary.  The only problem was the deadline for the start of the bicentenary celebrations of the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.

What's more, Andrew also had to get Fire Dancer, a Kim Holman design from 1965, ready for  exactly the same event.  Long hours ensured that both boats made the celebrations, but only just!

Spaces for this winter still available on the hard, please contact our office manager Katie for more information...katie@gweekquay.co.uk
