1930 Classic American Yawl undergoing complete refit and restoration at Gweek Quay

This Classic American Alden 60 yawl is now undercover and undergoing an extensive restoration and refit. Designed in 1928 by John G. Alden of Boston, USA, Chief Ivanhoe was built in 1930. She was one of 7 sister ships and has a prestigious and well documented racing history.

The refit includes laying a new teak deck, replacing deck beams as required, a galvanised steel ring frame for the cap shrouds, new hatches, major work to the deckhouse and cockpit coamings and a full interior fit out.
